Ru Chaudhary

Hrutu “Ru” Chaudhary is a DBT Program Clinician and Skills Facilitator at DBT Center of Orange County. Ru is currently being foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is also a third-year graduate student in the APA-accredited Clinical PsyD program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she is expanding her skills in providing compassionate, practical, and evidence-based care.

Previously, Ru served as a Diagnostic Clinician at the University of La Verne, where she conducted psychological evaluations and collaborated with the Accessibility Services team to support students’ growth and academic success. Her clinical interests include health psychology, working with culturally diverse populations, and applying DBT within these contexts. She has experience supporting individuals through major life transitions in both clinical and residential settings, and is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to build resilience and adaptive coping skills.
