James Watt
James Watt is a DBT Program Clinician and Skills Facilitator at DBT Center Orange County. In this role, he co-facilitates Intensive Outpatient Program groups designed to support individuals in managing emotion regulation challenges. Prior to this, James worked as a Psychological Extern at Hoag Hospital Neuroscience Institute, where he facilitated group therapy for both adolescents and young adults. James also spent a year as a Diagnostic Clinician at the OMID Multicultural Institute for Development, where he specialized in conducting psychological evaluations.
Additionally, James is a candidate in a Clinical Psychology Doctoral (PsyD) program at The Chicago School, further enhancing his education and clinical skills. James is currently being foundationally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). James brings a deep passion for integrating mindfulness, compassion, and scientific reasoning into his practice, informing his approach to therapy for patients.
