Madeline Snyder M.A.

DBT Program Clinician and Skills Facilitator

Madeline is a fourth year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining the DBT Center of Orange County, Madeline gained clinical experience through her practicum training in school-based and intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization settings. She has worked with individuals experiencing psychosis symptoms, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, and disordered eating. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Madeline is committed to centering the client and collaboratively setting their individualized treatment goals.

Further, Madeline’s program of research is largely focused on emotional and social risk-factors for and early intervention in serious mental illness. Through this research, she has developed a strong foundation of knowledge in emotional well-being and emotion regulation. This knowledge informs Madeline’s implementation of interventions such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Altogether, Madeline is grateful for the opportunity to work collaboratively with clients to support their journey towards better mental health.
