Keren Clark LMFT
Keren Clark is a seasoned psychotherapist and transformational coach who brings fierce commitment, decades of training and finely tuned intuition to helping her patients make dramatic shifts in their relationships and their lives. Working within a DBT frame, and using mindfulness, skill building and trauma resolution when appropriate, Keren partners actively with her patients to courageously push into that which has been keeping them stuck and stands with them as they transform their lives. Keren trained intensively in DBT with Kate Comtois, PhD in a Behavioral Tech Intensive training in 2003/2004.
Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 25 years, Keren specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders and addictions. She has worked extensively with individuals, couples and groups for the duration of her career assisting people to shift from a sense of powerlessness to deep personal empowerment. Keren has been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is an EMDRIA certified practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Keren received her Masters degree from Antioch University in 1988 and was licensed in the state of California in 1990. She has always lived on the edge of her personal and professional growth, integrating it all into every aspect of her life. In the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to train directly with Francine Shapiro, the creator of EMDR and with Marsha Linehan, the creator of DBT. Keren was Team Leader in her 2003/2004 DBT Intensive and has also participated in an Advanced DBT Intensive in 2008.In addition, Keren is a Certified Feminine Power Coach as well as a Certified Conscious Uncoupling Coach and has worked extensively with both Claire Zammit and Katherine Woodward Thomas, the creators of these models of transformational coaching. She is also the mother of three amazing and talented young people who are busy making their mark on the world.
