DBT Program Clinician and Skills Facilitator

Kati McCormick is an Associate Clinical Social Worker in the State of California and received her Master of Social Work degree from San Diego State University. She has practiced in partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings. Kati was trained in DBT, CBT, and Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT) at the UCSD Eating Disorders Center, where she provided individual, group, and family therapy for both children and adolescents. She has experience treating eating disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and providing crisis intervention.

Kati co-facilitates the Adult Intensive Outpatient DBT Skills Program and provides individual therapy and skills coaching at the DBT Center of Orange County. She is passionate about providing evidence-based therapy, and uses her creativity and warmth to personalize treatment for every patient. Kati is inspired by witnessing the transformation and growth possible through DBT, and is thrilled to be able to help people along their paths to create their Lives Worth Living.
