Heather Greenberg is a Master’s level Psychological Assistant in the state of California working under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Lyndon. She is currently pursuing her Clinical Psychology Doctorate (Psy.D.) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Irvine, an APA-accredited program. Her past clinical experience lies in both community-based clinics and residential programs, working with clients suffering from a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and schizophrenia. Heather is also proficient in psychological testing. She has completed her Foundational Training in DBT and continues to receive further training.
Heather is passionate about implementing Evidence-Based-Treatments while still remaining both flexible and authentic in treatment with her clients. She believes that no one can fail DBT and promises to work as hard as her clients to help them attain their goals. She is also currently working on her dissertation, examining the attitudes of mental health professionals in regard to controversial interventions.
Heather co-facilitates the morning Adult Intensive Outpatient DBT Skills Program and provides individual therapy and skills coaching at the DBT Center of Orange County. She is also both a mom and a fur-mom to a beautiful son, a wacky pup, and a grumpy, old-man cat. Heather is passionate about mindfulness and has a daily practice which includes both guided meditations and walking her pup, Walter. Her kitty Max does his best to distract her during these times and he often succeeds! Her son Edison brings joy to her life daily.
