Heather Greenberg MA, LVN
Heather Greenberg is a Master’s level Psychological Associate in the state of California working under the supervision of Dr. Kylie Le. She is currently pursuing her Clinical Psychology Doctorate (Psy.D.) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Anaheim, an APA-accredited program. Her past clinical experience lies in both community-based clinics and residential programs, working with clients suffering from a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and schizophrenia. Heather is also proficient in psychological testing. She has completed her Foundational Training in DBT and continues to receive further training. Heather worked as a nurse prior to her being a therapist and is comfortable discussing medical concerns and their impact on mental health.
Heather is passionate about implementing Evidence-Based-Treatments while still remaining both flexible and authentic in treatment with her clients. She believes that no one can fail DBT and promises to work as hard as her clients to help them attain their goals. She is also currently working on her dissertation, examining the attitudes of mental health professionals in regard to controversial interventions.
Heather currently co-facilitates the Tuesday morning 20-weeks Skills group and provides individual therapy and skills coaching at the DBT Center of Orange County. In the past she has co-facilitated the AM Intensive Outpatient Program, the 20-weeks Multifamily Skills Group, and the Wednesday evening 20-weeks Skills Group. She is also both a mom and a fur-mom to two beautiful children and a wacky pup. Heather is passionate about mindfulness and self-compassion, and has a daily practice to strengthen these traits.
