Gina Hesp ACSW
Gina is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Lyndon. She graduated with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in children, youth, and families in 2020. Prior to pursuing her Masters, she volunteered at DBTOC while she was an undergraduate student studying Psychology. Her clinical experience includes working with diverse populations in a variety of settings such as social services and community mental health. She has extensive training in Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy , Crisis Intervention, and TF-CBT.
Gina’s approach to treatment is person-centered and strengths based. She is passionate about working with transitional aged youth and adults with varying issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief & loss.
Outside of her clinical work, Gina likes to stay active by taking Pilates classes and practicing yoga. Additionally, in her spare time she enjoys taking her dog on walks to the beach.
