Catherine Mann BS, BA
Catherine’s DBT journey began in 2009. She attributes her ongoing personal growth to DBT and feels she’s living her ‘Life Worth Living’. She incorporates DBT Skills into her every day life in order to keep her grounded. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). A Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development–Human Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with an emphasis on mental health. She previously worked for the largest grassroots mental health organization in the nation, The National Association on Mental Illness – Orange County (NAMI-OC) in their Provider Education department, as well as their WarmLine department. NAMI-OC further developed her passion for the field of mental health and advocacy. When she’s not in the office you can find her on her yoga mat with her toes in the sand, dancing her worries away to her favorite music, or studying at her favorite coffee shop. She is currently a Clinical Psychology graduate student at Pepperdine University and plans to one day treat patients with emotional dysregulation to help them find their own Life Worth Living!
