Our Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation includes cognitive, behavioral, and personality testing, and provides in-depth information on an individual’s functioning in these three areas. It is useful to understand what a person is thinking and feeling, their underlying personality structure, cognitive strengths and areas of needed support, coping skills and areas of growth, and why a person may exhibit certain behaviors. A full psychological evaluation can be an invaluable resource for providing diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations. The evaluation process is broken down into at least two sessions to avoid fatigue for the patient and thus result in the clearest diagnostic results and treatment recommendations.
Tests performed are based on the patient’s individual needs and includes an initial assessment, test administration, written report and follow up feedback appointment. Psychiatric evaluations take approximately 4 – 6 hours and are broken up into several sessions.
